Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Manchester United will be looking to secure sixth position in the Premier League table when they take on Crystal Palace in their final game of the season on Sunday.

Ralf Rangnick's side, who suffered a 4-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion last time out, are currently sixth, two points ahead of seventh-placed West Ham United.

The Red Devils could lose and claim a Europa League spot if West Ham fail to overcome Brighton, but a victory for the Hammers would leave the 20-time English champions needing to triumph themselves.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of the away side's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with the Eagles, who occupy 13th position in the division.

Jadon Sancho

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Palace)

Jadon Sancho has recently been on the sidelines with tonsillitis, but the England international returned to training on Tuesday and could feature on the final weekend of the season.

Luke Shaw

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Leg
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Palace)

Luke Shaw recently underwent an operation to remove two bolts from his previously-broken leg, but he has returned to training this week and could yet make the squad for this match.

Paul Pogba

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Palace)

Paul Pogba might have played his last game for Man United, as the France international's calf injury is likely to keep him out for this contest, but there is still a slight chance that he could be involved.

Marcus Rashford

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Palace)

Marcus Rashford was missing against Brighton last time out due to bronchitis, but he has also been back in training this week and should therefore be in the squad for the contest with Patrick Vieira's side.

Eric Bailly

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Palace)

Out-of-favour central defender Eric Bailly was missing against Brighton due to a back problem, and he remains a major doubt for the contest with the Eagles.
