Manchester City, Manchester United join Liverpool in Ashley Cole chase?

Manchester City and Manchester United reportedly join Real Madrid and Liverpool in the race for Chelsea's Ashley Cole.

Manchester City are reportedly preparing to battle it out with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool for the signature of Chelsea defender Ashley Cole.

The left-back is out of contract at the end of the season, and is not expected to be offered a fresh deal at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool have been repeatedly linked with the England defender, while Real Madrid have also been rumoured to be showing an interest.

However, according to The Mirror, City and United have joined the race for the former Arsenal man.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho recently claimed that Cole was one of four players who will have to wait before their futures are discussed amongst the club's hierarchy this summer.
