Jadon Sancho is reportedly 'unconvinced' by a move to the Saudi Pro League, with the forward not expected to become the latest high-profile player to move to the division in January.

The 23-year-old's Manchester United career appears to be over due to his falling-out with head coach Erik ten Hag, which stemmed from him being left out against Arsenal at the start of September.

According to Ten Hag, poor performances on the training ground led to the England international being omitted, but Sancho has a different version of events, with the forward insisting that he had been made "a scapegoat".

The ex-Manchester City youngster has been removed from the first-team picture entirely, and it appears almost certain that he will be leaving Old Trafford in January.

A loan exit remains the most likely outcome, with Man United thought to be unwilling to sell him for anything under £50m due to his age and potential.

Sancho was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the latter stages of their transfer window, with Al Ettifaq believed to have made an attempt to sign him.

According to 90min, there remains vast interest from the Saudi Pro League, but Sancho is leaning away from a move, as he wants to continue his career in European football.

The report claims that the forward will refuse to be pushed out of Man United and will wait for the right opportunity, even if it remains staying at Old Trafford until next summer.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are both said to be interested, in addition to Barcelona, but it is highly unlikely that any of the three clubs would be in a position to pay a large sum in January.

A switch to Turkey is also thought to be an option, if the right opportunity arrives, but Sancho is determined to make a decision on his next club rather than Man United.

Sancho's disappointing form at club level has seen completely drop out of England contention, and he will not be at Euro 2024 unless there is an extraordinary turn of events over the next few months.

The attacker has only managed 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances for Man United since arriving at the club in a high-profile move from Dortmund in the summer of 2021.

Sancho has another three years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, with the option of a further 12 months, but he appears to have played his final game for the club.
