Manchester United are reportedly prepared to launch a bid for Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile if they are unable to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City.
The Premier League giants have long been linked with Maguire, although it remains unclear whether United will meet Leicester's £85m valuation of the England international.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is seemingly not without alternatives, however, as L'Equipe suggests that Badiashile has been identified as a potential addition.
Despite being just 18 years old, Badiashile has already established himself as a first-team player at Monaco, making a total of 26 appearances last season.
The France Under-19 international has just two years remaining on his contract, meaning that Monaco find themselves in a position where they may have to make a decision regarding the youngster's future.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Valencia are also said to be monitoring the situation.
