Report: Pedro, Willian agree short-term contract extensions with Chelsea

A report claims that Pedro and Willian will remain at Chelsea until the end of the season after agreeing short-term deals.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed temporary contracts with Pedro and Willian to keep the wingers at the club until the end of the season.

The duo, who have spent a combined 12 years at Stamford Bridge, were due to become free agents next week.

However, The Telegraph reports that both players have put pen to paper on short-term extensions to see out the remainder of 2019-20, which has been extended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Pedro is still expected to join Roma when the summer transfer window opens, while Willian is a rumoured target for a number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Frank Lampard will now be able to call upon the attacking duo for Chelsea's remaining eight Premier League games, as well as in the FA Cup and Champions League.
