Manchester United outcast Anderson linked with Sporting Lisbon

Manchester United outcast Anderson is reportedly on the verge of joining Sporting Lisbon.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has been linked with a move to Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese club are willing to pay £5.5m for the Brazilian's services, according to The Express.

Anderson has failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford, scoring just five goals in more than 100 appearances since joining the club for £20m seven seasons ago.

United have already offloaded Nani to Sporting during the summer in a move that saw Marcos Rojo head in the opposite direction.
