Troyes remain rooted to the foot of the Ligue 1 table after a 3-1 defeat at Nice on Sunday.

Troyes have edged closer to relegation from Ligue 1 this season as they went down 3-1 to Nice away from home.

The relegation-threatened side took the lead at Stade Municipal du Ray in the 21st minute when Mohamed Yattara headed home Eloge Enza Yamissi's corner from close range.

However, Nice restored parity on 34 minutes through Renato Civelli, who headed in a corner from just yards out.

The hosts took the lead on the stroke of half time from another header, this time Dario Cvitanich meeting Didier Digard's cross in the centre of the box.

Nice wrapped up the points with 13 minutes of normal time left when Luigi Bruins shot home after latching onto Gregoire Puel's pass.

The result leaves Troyes at the foot of the Ligue 1 table, while Nice climb up to sixth.
