Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has insisted that Thiago Silva is fully focused on Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Marseille despite the constant speculation surrounding the centre-back's future.
As it stands, Silva will be out of contract next June and the experienced Brazilian is believed to be the subject of interest from former club AC Milan, in addition to Juventus.
It had been claimed that the 32-year-old would be left out this weekend as the speculation gathers pace, but Emery has no concerns over the defender's mindset ahead of the Marseille clash.
"For me, the most important thing is the game tomorrow. The situations of the players of PSG concern the club. The club manages these things, talking with agents," Emery told reporters.
"The rumours, it's normal in a club like PSG, with players like Thiago Silva. It's normal. For me, the important thing is to have players focused for matches, training sessions, tomorrow's game.
"My players are professionals. They are accustomed to media rumours. Thiago Silva is prepared for tomorrow game. The individual situation is different. He talks with the club and his agent."
Silva, who is a 59-time Brazil international, made 45 appearances for PSG last season as the French giants retained their Ligue 1 crown in addition to triumphing in both the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue.
