Report: Neymar agrees four-year Paris Saint-Germain extension

A report claims that Paris Saint-Germain and Neymar have reached an agreement over a new contract that will run through until 2025.

Neymar has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain on a new long-term deal at the Parc des Princes, according to a report.

The Brazilian forward, who became the world's most expensive footballer when joining from Barcelona for £198m in 2017, was due to be out of contract at the end of next season.

However, Neymar has recently been in talks over fresh terms and the 28-year-old stated at the weekend that he is "very happy" in the French capital.

Brazilian-based journalist Marcelo Bechler has claimed that those discussions have now come to an end, with the former Barca star putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.

An official announcement is expected to be made by PSG later this week.

The Ligue 1 champions are also hoping to keep hold of fellow superstar forward Kylian Mbappe beyond the end of next season.
