Christopher Samba has "no plans" to abandon Queens Park Rangers

Christopher Samba admits that he is not looking for a way out of Queens Park Rangers, despite rumours of a possible return to Russia.

Queens Park Rangers defender Christopher Samba has admitted that his family have made him "happy" in West London, despite rumours of a possible exit

The 28-year-old, who moved to Loftus Road from Anzhi Makhachkala for £12.5m in the January transfer window, was the subject of a late bid from a Russian club, according to manager Harry Redknapp.

"All the money in the world cannot make you happy if you don't have your family with you," Sky Sports News quotes Samba as saying.

"I came back to be with my family. Life needs to have both sides - enjoy your football and have your loved ones close to you. I have no plans to go back to Russia.

"I'm a Rangers player and I will give 100 per cent to this club. People have said to me if Rangers go down it could be a springboard to another move. Maybe that's true but I don't think like that."

QPR are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table on just 20 points.
