Serie A club Sampdoria have confirmed the signing of their former striker Antonio Cassano on a two-year deal.
The ex-AC Milan, Inter Milan and Real Madrid forward spent four years with the Genoa-based club between 2007 and 2011.
Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero told the club's official website: "He will become our symbol and prove himself to be a great man."

Cassano became a free agent after terminating his contract with Parma in January following a dispute over unpaid wages as the club suffered a financial meltdown.
