Shakhtar Donetsk forward Luiz Adriano has been charged by UEFA for a "violation of the principles of conduct".
The charge relates to an incident which occurred during Tuesday's 5-2 win over Nordsjaelland in the Champions League.
After Nordsjaelland striker Morten Nordstrand had received treatment for an injury and with the Norwegian side leading 1-0, Shakhtar's Willian attempted to return the ball to the hosts from an uncontested drop ball.
However, Adriano intercepted his teammate's pass to the opposition and then went on to equalise in controversial style.
Adriano, who completed his hat-trick later in the game, has been charged under section five of UEFA's disciplinary code.
He will face a hearing on Tuesday, November 27.
