Preview: Spartak Moscow vs. Benfica

Sports Mole previews the Champions League meeting between Spartak Moscow of Russia and Portugal's Benfica.

Hosting Spartak Moscow head into this encounter with Benfica on the back of three successive defeats in the Russian Premier League - their worst run of form since 2009.

If they are to get back to winning ways tomorrow, they will have to do so without the services of former Celtic winger Aiden McGeady, who is injured.

McGeady's absence is likely to give Jurado an opportunity from the start.

In contrast, visiting Benfica have a fully fit squad to select from. That means that the likes of Pablo Aimar and Nicolas Gaitan will begin the match in attacking midfield roles.

However, they will be without centre-back Luisao because of suspension.

Spartak: LLLWW

Benfica Moraes; Pereira, Jardel, Garay, Melgarejo; Salvio, Matic, Martins; Aimar, Gaitan; Cardozo

Sports Mole says: 1-1
