Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has praised the performance of Andros Townsend in tonight's 5-0 win against Dinamo Tbilsi.
Townsend scored the opening goal after 12 minutes and was involved in two others as Spurs outclassed their opponents.
"Andros has been working well in training, so we felt it was time to give him an opportunity and he did very well," Villas-Boas told BBC Sport.
"If we have the type of performance we had to today [from him] we can always count him."
Spurs play the return leg next Thursday at White Hart Lane.
