Mauricio Pochettino: "We did not play well"

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that his side played poorly during their 3-0 loss away at Borussia Dortmund.

Mauricio Pochettino has conceded that his Tottenham Hotspur side were second best throughout their Europa League clash away at Borussia Dortmund tonight.

The North Londoners lost 3-0 at the Westfalenstadion to all but end their chances of reaching the quarter-finals.

"It is difficult to explain but it was a bad day and I'm disappointed with our performance," he told BT Sport.

"We did not play well. That is why we lost the game."

Spurs return to action on Sunday when they take on Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League.
