Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Premier League showdown with Norwich City.

Tottenham Hotspur will hope to get back to winning ways on Wednesday when they face the Premier League's bottom side Norwich City.

Spurs played out a disappointing 0-0 draw with Watford in the early kick off on Saturday, and were let off in the second half when Troy Deeney missed a penalty for the hosts.

Jose Mourinho's side did have a late effort cleared off the line, though, and remain in the race for the top four after Manchester United and Chelsea lost over the weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Spurs' latest injury and suspension news ahead of this fixture.

Harry Kane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Harry Kane is facing a race against time to be fit before the end of the season and has undergone surgery, although this is not expected to impact the amount of time he will spend out.

Moussa Sissoko

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Moussa Sissoko has been a big miss for Spurs and has now travelled back to his native France in order to receive treatment. The midfielder has not featured for Mourinho since New Year's Day.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out
Type of injury: Elbow
Possible return date: February 2 (vs. Manchester City)

The France number one is getting closer to a return after he suffered a horrific elbow injury against Brighton & Hove Albion in October. Hugo Lloris could be back in time to face Manchester City next month.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: January 25 (vs. Southampton)

Tanguy Ndombele is closing in on a return but is a major doubt to play any part on Wednesday. The former Lyon man could be ready to feature next weekend though, provided he and Mourinho patch up their damaged relationship.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: January 25 (vs. Southampton)

Ben Davies is also closing in on a return and is currently undergoing the final stages of his rehabilitation. The Welshman is likely to feature on Wednesday, but could travel to Southampton.

Danny Rose

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. Norwich City)

Danny Rose could be fit to face Norwich in a boost to the options available to Mourinho at left-back. Having said that, the emergence of Japhet Tanganga could mean that Rose will take a place on the bench as he closes in on a proper return.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no suspensions to worry about for this match.
