Wales manager Chris Coleman has suggested that big clubs have "overlooked" Ashley Williams during this summer's transfer window.
The Swansea City defender, who also captains his country, was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer, while Crystal Palace were thought to be interested during the current transfer window.
Coleman told Wales Online: "He loves it at Swansea, but any player would find it difficult to turn down a club capable of winning the league, whether that happens or not.
"Certain players get overlooked. I see some teams signing centre-backs for a lot of money and think 'how has that happened?' because I have seen Ash do it week in week out for club and country and he is one of the best in the Premier League and that is one of the best leagues in the world.
"[Everton defender and Chelsea transfer target John] Stones is a great player but all I know is what I have seen with Ash and he is a top player. He could play for any club in the Premier League."
Williams joined Swansea from Stockport County in 2008.
