Brendan Galloway determined to earn West Bromwich Albion starting spot

Brendan Galloway is refusing to get upset about his lack of playing time at West Bromwich Albion of late and says that he will work hard to nail down a starting berth.

Everton loanee Brendan Galloway has insisted that he is prepared to fight to earn a place in West Bromwich Albion's starting lineup after falling out of favour.

The 20-year-old, who cannot be recalled from his Hawthorns loan spell, has been overlooked by manager Tony Pulis since mid-September and has even been omitted from the last two squads altogether.

Despite his future in the Midlands looking bleak, Galloway is determined to work his way back into Pulis's thoughts after helping England Under-21s to a 5-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina Under-21s on Tuesday evening.

"I'm going to try and work my hardest to get back in the team because that's where I want to be," he is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.

"I want to be playing week in week out for West Brom. I'm working with a really good manager and a really good bunch of players so for my development, it's perfect."

Galloway has made four appearances for West Brom overall, three of which have come in the Premier League and one - a penalty shootout defeat to Northampton Town - in the EFL Cup.
