Wales assistant coach Robin McBryde has hinted that his side will name a new captain to replace Ryan Jones on Thursday, ahead of their Six Nations showdown with England at the weekend.
Jones has been ruled out of the clash with a shoulder injury that he sustained during the Dragons' 28-18 win over Scotland on Saturday and will be out of action for six to eight weeks.
Alun-Wyn Jones is the favourite to take the armband, with former skipper Sam Warbuton and Gethin Jenkins also in the running, but McBryde gave little away when quizzed about the captain situation.
"That will be up for discussion," McBryde said. "There are quite a few sore bodies at this stage after Saturday, and we are not under any pressure to make any decisions at the moment.
"We will take our time and make sure the decisions are right in order to get things spot-on for Saturday. We are in a good place. Those decisions will come on Thursday."
