Great Britain's Lois Toulson has said that she has gained valuable experience from featuring in the synchronised 10m platform final alongside Tonia Couch.
The pair contended for a medal in the eight-team final before eventually finishing in fifth position, but despite failing to get on the podium, Toulson is taking the positives from competing at her first Olympic Games.
The 16-year-old told reporters: "It was amazing. It was one of the best competitions that I've done. I really enjoyed it and I've definitely got a lot of experience from it as well.
"I've learned you need to enjoy it. I really enjoyed that competition and we ended up getting a PB together so it shows that's important."
China claimed gold, with Malaysia and Canada securing silver and bronze respectively.
