Massimiliano Allegri expects Chievo to "fight"

Massimiliano Allegri wants his side to be stronger at the back ahead of facing Chievo in the league.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that he is expecting a battle when his side travel to Chievo in Serie A on Sunday afternoon.

Allegri said that his side's recent sloppiness at the back, which has led to consecutive defeats, will spur them on to improve as a unit.

"We definitely don't have wingers at the moment, so we have to look at ways of defending well and pushing forward at the same time," he told the club's official website.

"We've a fight ahead of us on Sunday and it'll be a different game. It's disappointing as we conceded two goals in a couple of situations that aren't that clear but we gave the ball away a few too many times pushing forward as well.

"I'm not worried, I'm eager to win a game like the players are, we're on the back of two losses in Europe and in the league. We need everyone, all the players are required."

Milan currently find themselves in 11th in the Serie A table.
