Arsenal's David Ospina out of Bayern Munich clash, Petr Cech to start

Arsene Wenger reveals that Petr Cech will start in goal for Arsenal against Bayern Munich because understudy goalkeeper David Ospina is out with a shoulder injury.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that goalkeeper David Ospina has been ruled out of tomorrow's Champions League group encounter against Bayern Munich.

The Colombian has been used as back-up to Petr Cech this season, although he has featured in both of Arsenal's group matches so far, during which his performances have been roundly criticised.

It had resulted in pressure on Wenger to recall summer signing Cech for the visit of the Bavarians to the Emirates Stadium, but the decision has now been taken out of his hands because of a shoulder complaint that Ospina picked up on international duty.

"He came back from Colombia with a shoulder problem and he is out," the Arsenal boss told reporters.

The Gunners go into the encounter with two defeats to their name, which has left them bottom of Group F.
