Romelu Lukaku: 'Arsenal win vital for Champions League qualification

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku says that the Toffees' hopes of qualifying for the Champions League hinge on beating Arsenal tomorrow.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku believes that the Toffees' hopes of qualifying for the Champions League hinge on beating Arsenal on Sunday.

Roberto Martinez's charges could move to within a single point of the fourth-placed Gunners with victory at Goodison Park tomorrow.

The Merseyside outfit have played one fewer game than their London counterparts, and Lukaku is hopeful that a win can act as a springboard to securing their place in the top four.

"Look, top four is achievable," he told The Mirror. "It is realistic - we have a good team, we have good young players, but great experienced players, a great mix. If we want to do it, we have to do it now.

"It is Arsenal, they are a big club with a big manager but we don't have to be scared - we have to dictate the play and make sure we enjoy our moment on the pitch, and if we do that we have a great chance.

"We just have to beat Arsenal at the weekend, and then everything is in our hands."

Tomorrow's encounter is scheduled to kick off at 1.30pm.
