Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain relishing Bayern Munich tie

Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says that is he is looking forward to pitting his wits against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is relishing the chance of going head-to-head against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Gunners face the European Champions in the quarter-finals in February, and the England international said that he is looking forward to coming up against the Bundesliga leaders.

"You see the likes of the Barcelonas and Real Madrids and you always want to play against them and obviously Bayern Munich too," Oxlade-Chamberlain told the club's official website.

"We managed to get a good result away at Bayern last season so that brings back good memories. If you're going to do well in the competition you've got to beat the best teams.

"Obviously the big teams create the bigger atmosphere around the stadiums."

The Gunners qualified second in their group.
