Lukas Podolski says that only after facing Olympiakos can Arsenal think about the knockout stages of the Champions League after advancing from the group stages on Wednesday.

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has insisted that he wants more of the same after his start to his career at the Emirates.

The German joined the Gunners in the summer from FC Koln, and has made an impressive start to his tenure at the club.

Podolski scored a thunderous volley in the North London outfit's 2-0 win over Montpellier HSC on Wednesday, and he has targeted netting more goals for his new employers.

"When you score a goal like this you're very happy. The important thing was to win and qualify. It's great to have done that," said Podolski.

"This is my first season and I hope the coming years also turn out like this. We can now look forward to our last match against Olympiakos and we want to win. After that we can start to think about the next round.

"It's not easy when you come into a club from another country and we play every three days. I've played very well in recent matches and I look forward to scoring a lot of goals for this club."

Arsenal travel to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
