Arsene Wenger: 'Arsenal will try to beat Napoli'

Arsene Wenger says that Arsenal will not be content with settling for a draw against Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal will go for the victory when they face Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday despite having one foot in the knockout stages of the competition.

The Gunners will qualify for the next round should they avoid defeat by three goals to Rafael Benitez's side, while a draw would result in Arsenal progressing as winners of Group F.

"I see it as another game we want to win, and that is the only way we can approach the game," Wenger said in his press conference.

"Benitez has a very big experience, is a very intelligent manager, so I know he will prepare his team well. The only way we can counter that is to be at our best and put in a good performance as an average performance will not be good enough.

"For me the most important thing is to qualify. If we can finish top, it is even better."

You can enjoy live coverage of Napoli against Arsenal on Sports Mole tonight from 6.45pm.
