Arsenal defender sidelined for three weeks

Arsenal defender Andre Santos expects to be sidelined for three weeks with an ankle injury.

Arsenal defender Andre Santos has revealed that he expects to be out for three weeks following an ankle injury.

The Brazilian was stretchered off with the problem during the Gunners' 3-1 Champions League defeat at Olympiakos on Tuesday.

"I twisted my ankle in a silly move. The doctor thinks I'll be out for three weeks," said the 28-year-old.

Santos moved to the Emirates Stadium from Turkish side Fenerbahce for £6m over the summer.
