Jurgen Klopp: "I enjoyed this game from the first second until the last"

Jurgen Klopp says that he is "very pleased" by Borussia Dortmund's 2-0 win over Arsenal in Group D of the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp has said that he enjoyed every second of Borussia Dortmund's 2-0 triumph over Arsenal in the Champions League this evening.

The Dortmund manager saw his side move to the top of Group D following victory on the opening day of their 2014-15 Champions League campaign thanks to goals either side of the break from Ciro Immobile and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Klopp told Sky Sports News after the game that his side produced "everything we needed" despite a number of injuries to the likes of Mats Hummels, Marco Reus and Jakub Blaszczykowski that threatened to ruin his preparations.

He said: "I am very pleased. Three players went out of the team because of muscle problems, but we made some decisions and I have to say it was a great performance by the team. Really strong.

"We were brave, we were fast and that is everything we needed for this game.

"I enjoyed this game from the first second until the last. I don't think about this [a new era for Dortmund]. To see games like this, it is the best in the world."

Dortmund's next Champions League game will see them travel to Anderlecht on Wednesday, October 1.
