Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoying life at Arsenal

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain believes that the great morale in the Arsenal dressing room was a factor in their FA Cup success this season.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has stated that he is loving playing for Arsenal because the morale within the dressing room is high.

The Gunners claimed their second FA Cup in succession on Saturday as they beat Aston Villa 4-0 at Wembley.

Oxlade-Chamberlain says that the tight-knit nature of the squad helped them to success this season and will spur them on to greater things next term.

"It's a great place to be," the winger told the Daily Star. "I've always loved being at Arsenal and the group's always felt like a great bunch of lads.

"But where we are right now with the boys who have come in and the boys who have grown up through the club - the likes of Jack [Wilshere], Theo [Walcott] and Kieran [Gibbs] - it really feels like a great group of lads.

"It's a really nice place to be and everyone gets on really well. We're all in it together. This parade is lovely and this is what winning's all about. That's what we were talking about yesterday, that we wanted to go that step further and get more success. We're motivated to do that but I'm glad I can enjoy this moment with all my teammates and I'm really proud of all of them."

Arsenal finished the Premier League season in third place.
