Robert Pires: 'Arsene Wenger will die at Arsenal'

Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires believes that manager Arsene Wenger will "die" at the club.

Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires believes that manager Arsene Wenger will "die" at the club.

The 62-year-old's future at the Emirates Stadium has been uncertain after he claimed in an interview that he may leave at the end of the season.

"I think he will die with Arsenal," Pires told The Telegraph. "He is the same as Ferguson at Manchester United or Guy Roux at Auxerre.

"He will stay with Arsenal, that is my opinion, because Arsenal need him and he needs Arsenal. C'est l'amour."

The Gunners host Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
