Aaron Ramsey "one week away" from Arsenal return

Arsene Wenger reveals that Aaron Ramsey is "one week away" from returning to action after being on the sidelines with a thigh injury since December.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is "one week away" from returning to the team following a stint on the sidelines.

The Wales international has been out of action since December with a thigh injury, but could return for the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on March 16.

In the meantime, Arsenal, who will be without Jack Wilshere for six to eight weeks, will take on Everton and Bayern Munich over the next week.

In Friday's press conference, Wenger said: "Ramsay is one week away. I think the next two games are coming too soon, but for the weekend after he should be available."

Arsenal will reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup if they overcome Everton in Saturday's clash at the Emirates.
