Aaron Ramsey: Tottenham Hotspur win "meant a lot"

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey reveals that his side's win over bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur "meant a lot" to him and his teammates.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has expressed his delight with his side's win in the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners secured their second Premier League win of the season as Olivier Giroud scored the only goal of the game to hand them victory over their bitter rivals at the Emirates Stadium.

Ramsey told the club's official website: "You could see by the reaction of the players at the end. We're delighted with the win. It meant a lot to us.

"We wanted to get back to winning ways at home in the league after the disappointment against Villa and we managed to do that again today.

"We have a lot of quality in the team. The manager believes in us and we believe in what we're capable of doing and producing great performances."

Arsenal have been linked with a deadline day swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil, as manager Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his side after making just two signings so far this summer.
