Arsene Wenger delighted to have Aaron Ramsey in squad

Arsene Wenger reveals his delight at being able to include Aaron Ramsey in the Arsenal squad again.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that Aaron Ramsey's return to the first-team squad comes at a crucial stage for the Gunners.

Ramsey, who has not played since December, will be in the squad to face Everton on Sunday, and Wenger believes that his comeback makes it easier to deal with the absence of other players.

"He's an all-round midfielder who can score goals and drives the team forward always," the Arsenal boss told reporters.

"He's a real box-to-box player so it's good to have him back. That's an area where we are short because we have many midfielders out. We have [Jack] Wilshere out, [Mesut] Ozil out in this area so of course it's good to have him back.

"It's not one injury that has an impact on the squad like ours. It's the combined injuries of a few players in the same area that together players who can create and score goals. That of course has an impact."

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League, four points ahead of Everton.
