Aaron Ramsey included in Arsenal squad to face Everton

Arsene Wenger confirms that Aaron Ramsey has recovered from his hamstring injury and is in the Arsenal squad for Sunday's clash against Everton.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been included in the squad to face Everton on Sunday at Goodison Park.

The Wales international has been out of action since suffering a thigh injury on Boxing Day last year.

Following a number of setbacks, the midfielder is poised to mark his return in this weekend's crucial clash in the race for fourth place.

"Ramsey and [Nacho] Monreal will be back in the squad on Sunday," Wenger said in Friday's press conference. "He drives the team forward and he is a box to box player. It's good to have him back.

"Ramsey has worked very hard in training - what he lacks is competition. Having someone like Ramsey back, who can help the team be successful, is of course very important."

Arsenal currently occupy the final Champions League spot in the table, but Everton are just four points behind the North London outfit with a game in hand.
