Jack Wilshere: 'I'm fighting for my place in Arsenal team'

Jack Wilshere believes that he faces a battle getting back into the Arsenal team following a five-month injury layoff.

Jack Wilshere has insisted that he faces a battle to get back into the Arsenal team due to the fierce competition in his position.

The midfielder is back in the squad for Saturday's match against Burnley after recovering from an ankle injury.

Wilshere has not played first-team football since November, and believes that he faces a tough task battling Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla.

"We've always had real quality in that position, but now I'd say there are more of my style of players fighting for that position," Wilshere told the club's official website. "You can name four or five attacking midfielders who are world class."

Arsenal are currently second in the league table.
