Arsenal take on Southampton at the Emirates on Saturday as the Gunners hope to build on their victory against Liverpool.

Premier League new boys Southampton travel to the Emirates to take on Arsenal this weekend, with the Gunners eager to grab a second consecutive victory after finding the net for the first time this season before the international break.

Arsene Wenger's side managed to open the floodgates after two goalless draws by grabbing a 2-0 win against Liverpool, while Southampton have struggled to get a point on the board despite a number of impressive displays.

The Gunners are likely to be without midfielder Abou Diaby, who suffered a knock while on international duty with France, which is likely to pave the way for Francis Coquelin.

Laurent Koscielny is expected to return to the back four, while Saints boss Nigel Adkins is likely to call upon Rickie Lambert to start up front following his impressive performance against Manchester United.

Current form:

Arsenal: DDW
Southampton: LLL

Possible lineups:

Arsenal: Mannone; Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Gibbs; Coquelin, Arteta, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Podolski, Giroud

Southampton: Kelvin Davis; Clyne, Hooiveld, Fonte, Fox; Schneiderlin, Ward-Prowse, Steven Davis, Lallana; Puncheon, Lambert

Sports Mole says: 2-1
