Sports Mole previews the Premier League clash between Wigan Athletic and Arsenal.

Wigan Athletic host Arsenal on Saturday lunchtime as they look to haul themselves out of the Premier League relegation zone.

The Latics have registered just four points out of a possible 18 to leave them in 18th place and they will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Norwich City last weekend.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez will be forced into at least one change from that loss after James McCarthy suffered an ankle injury so David Jones is likely to deputise for the Republic of Ireland midfielder.

There could also be a recall for striker Franco di Santo after he was relegated to the substitute bench last week.

Arsenal eased the pressure on manager Arsene Wenger on Monday night with a dominant 5-2 victory over Reading.

Midfielder Santi Cazorla scored a hat-trick in that match to take his season's tally up to seven goals to make him Arsenal's top scorer for the season.

Barring any late fitness issues, Wenger could decide to name the same starting lineup as Monday evening.
