Wigan make three changes to the side that lost 3-0 to Liverpool last weekend, while opponents Reading stick with the side that secured their first win of the season against Everton.

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has made three changes to his side to face Reading this afternoon.

Gary Caldwell misses out through injury, to be replaced by Ronnie Stam, while Jordi Gomez and David Jones come in for Franco di Santo and Ben Watson.

Reading, meanwhile, have chosen to stick with the same starting XI that secured their first win of the season against Everton last weekend.

Wigan: Al Habsi; Stam, Figueora, Boyce, Ramis; Jones, McCarthy, Beausejour, Maloney, Gomez; Kone
