Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sheffield United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Sheffield United on Sunday.

Arsenal will be desperate to bounce back from their latest disappointment when they travel to Bramall Lane to take on the Premier League's basement side Sheffield United on Sunday evening.

Mikel Arteta's side were seconds away from claiming a 1-0 win in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final with Slavia Prague, but they conceded an equaliser to Tomas Holes right at the death to draw 1-1 during an incredibly frustrating night.

The Gunners' European hopes are now hanging by a thread, and a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the league sees them languish in 10th spot - seven points adrift of the top six and 10 below West Ham United in the top four.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their trip to Bramall Lane.

Possible return date: April 11 (vs. Sheffield United)

Emile Smith Rowe suffered a sprain ankle in the midweek draw with Slavia Prague, and he is considered a major doubt for the trip to Bramall Lane.

Possible return date: Unknown

In a major blow to Arsenal's European chances, indispensable left-back Kieran Tierney has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks with the knee problem he sustained in the first half of their Liverpool defeat.

David Luiz

Experienced centre-back David Luiz has undergone a small operation to address a knee problem, and he should return to action before the campaign concludes.

Martin Odegaard

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: April 11 (Sheff Utd)

The ankle injury that Martin Odegaard sustained during the international break flared up before the draw with Slavia, and Arteta has conceded that he does not expect the Real Madrid loanee to be available for the next couple of matches, but he has not been ruled out of Sunday's game.
