Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly send scouts to watch Paraguayan midfielder Richard Sanchez play for Boca Juniors on Monday evening.

Arsenal have reportedly sent scouts to watch Paraguayan midfielder Richard Sanchez in action this evening.

The Gunners, who are in danger of failing to qualify for next season's Champions League, are believed to be looking ahead to their summer transfer activity.

According to The Sun, local media in South America are reporting that Arsenal have sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old perform for Boca Juniors in Monday evening's match against Sol De America.

The defensive midfielder's appearances this season have led to his first international call-up for Paraguay and he could make his debut against the USA next week.

Arsene Wenger's men will take on Stoke City on April 1 after the international break.
