Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho is not a transfer target for Arsenal this summer, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly not interested in making a move for Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazil international has returned to fitness following a serious knee injury but does not appear to be in the plans of Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman for the 2021-22 campaign.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with the former Liverpool playmaker, who still has two years left to run on his contract with the Catalan giants.

However, according to The Mirror, the Gunners are not planning a move for the South American before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

The report claims that Martin Odegaard's arrival from Real Madrid has ended the London club's search for a new attacking midfielder in the current market.

Coutinho enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bayern Munich during the 2019-20 campaign but struggled to make his mark at Camp Nou last term due to a knee injury which ended his season in December.
