Report: Arsenal to hijack Tottenham Hotspur bid for Breel Embolo

Arsenal make an offer for 18-year-old Tottenham Hotspur target Breel Embolo, according to reports.

Arsenal could hijack Tottenham Hotspur's bid for striker Breel Embolo, according to reports.

Spurs were favourites to sign the Basel player but the Gunners are believed to have made a move for the 18-year-old.

Embolo has made seven appearances for the Switzerland national team and has scored eight goals in 17 appearances for the Swiss champions this season.

Wolfsburg are thought to have had an £18m bid rejected, while Everton and Juventus have also been linked with the player.
