Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea forward Armando Broja, who is impressing during his season-long loan with Southampton.

Arsenal are set to make a move for Chelsea forward Armando Broja, according to a report.

The 20-year-old is impressing this season while on a season-long loan with Southampton, where he has made 20 appearances in the Premier League, scoring six times, while he also found the back of the net twice in the EFL Cup.

There has been a lot of speculation about his future, with the Saints interested in keeping him permanently, while Thomas Tuchel is also understood to be interested in using Broja next season.

According to Football.London, Arsenal are monitoring Broja's situation ahead of the summer transfer market, after the club missed out on targets that they hoped to sign during January.

The Gunners had been looking at Dusan Vlahovic during the previous window, but he opted to sign for Juventus instead, which has left the club light in that are of the pitch following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's departure.

There is also speculation regarding the futures of both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, as their contracts are up at the end of the season, hence why Arsenal want to bring in a new striker.
