Guillem Balague: 'Isco not joining Arsenal'

Real Madrid midfielder Isco will not leave the Bernabeu for Arsenal this summer, according to respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.

Respected journalist Guillem Balague has played down suggestions that Spanish international Isco could leave Real Madrid for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Isco, 24, has largely struggled to hold down a spot in the Real Madrid XI this season and it has been claimed that the midfielder could seek pastures new.

Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the former Malaga playmaker, but Balague has said that there is 'zero chance' of Isco joining Arsene Wenger's side this summer.

"The chances of Isco to Arsenal: zero, cero, null, zilch, nein, no chance whatsoever," Balague tweeted.

Isco was part of the Real Madrid team that beat Manchester City 1-0 in the semi-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday night.
