Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir has admitted that he is interested in joining Arsenal this summer, but does not want to sit on the bench.
The 21-year-old has regularly been linked with a move to the Gunners and his father revealed last year that Fekir would only leave Lyon for the North London club.
Fekir appeared to confirm that he is open to joining Arsenal, but suggested that he will not settle for being a substitute.
He told L'Equipe: "We'll see. I didn't want to leave too soon and then stay on the bench. I am a fighter and I love playing well, I'm not happy if I do not play.
"It was only my first season at the top level and at Arsenal, with the big players there, it will be difficult to play for them, perhaps. You never know."
Lyon are currently two points clear of Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
