Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly added Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci to his list of potential defensive additions.
It is believed that Wenger is in the market for a new defender following his decision to allow club captain Thomas Vermaelen to join Barcelona earlier this week.
German internationals Mats Hummels and Benedikt Howedes have been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium in recent days, but Bonucci is also high on Wenger's wishlist, according to Tuttosport.
The 27-year-old joined Juve from Bari in 2010 and he has gone on to win three Serie A titles with the Turin-based outfit.
