Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has revealed that on-loan forward Lukas Podolski wants to return to Arsenal in the summer.
The Germany international joined the Serie A club in January on a temporary deal until the end of the season.
However, Podolski has endured a difficult time in Italy, failing to score in 13 appearances for Inter.
Following persistent criticism of Podolski and fellow January signing Xherdan Shaqiri in the media, Mancini told reporters: "In Italy, we have a habit of not being able to wait. Not everything can be done quickly, especially when moving from one country to another, from one club to another.
"The same applies to Podolski, who I consider a great player and a great professional. That situation is a little different though [to Shaqiri's], because he is on loan and wants to return to Arsenal."
Inter continue their league campaign on Tuesday when they make the trip to Udinese.
