Lukas Podolski "not happy" at Arsenal

Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski speaks of his frustration at a lack of match action, which he suggests may force him to leave the club this winter.

Lukas Podolski has hinted that he will look to leave Arsenal during the January transfer window.

The Germany international has made just one start for the Gunners this term, with a further eight appearances coming from the bench.

When asked about his lack of match action at the Emirates Stadium, the 29-year-old conceded that he was unhappy, which could result in a winter exit.

"I am not happy with the situation at the moment. It would be wrong to suggest that I am. I still have fun playing football but when the competitive element of it is taken away from me, the one I enjoy so much, then I am not happy," The Guardian quotes Podolski as saying.

"I have to think about will happen this winter and will look to hold talks with the club."

Podolski joined Arsenal from FC Koln back in the summer of 2012.
