Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga reportedly tells the club that he wants to leave this summer and join Paris Saint-Germain.

Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has reportedly told the club he wants to leave this summer and join Paris Saint-Germain.

The 18-year-old is one the brightest talents in world football and is being tracked by a number of Europe's elite clubs, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Arsenal.

However, according to RMC Sport, Camavinga has expressed his desire to join PSG and wants to be sold in this summer's transfer window.

Both the teenager and Rennes have been in talks over the past few months regarding a new contract, which currently expires in June 2022, but 'exorbitant' wage demands from the midfielder have seen negotiations hit a stumbling block.

Rennes owner Francois Pinault, the 27th richest man in the world, is keen to hold onto his prized asset and although Camavinga could leave for free next summer, he is demanding £100m from any potential suiters interested.

Since making his debut as a 16-year-old in August 2019, Camavinga has played 82 times for Rennes, including 39 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
