Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Harry Kane can fulfil his ambitions of silverware at Tottenham Hotspur.
The England captain has forged a reputation as one of the world's deadliest number nines during his stint in North London, but he is still waiting for his first major trophy at the age of 27.
However, Spurs do have an EFL Cup final with Manchester City to look forward to as they bid to end their 13-year trophy drought, and Wenger believes that Spurs have every right to be "ambitious" about the future.
Speaking to beIN Sports, the 71-year-old said: "Tottenham are in a position where they can be ambitious and we should maybe not judge only today's situation.
"Tottenham was top of the league in December. There were a few times when they were top of the league when I was still at Arsenal. He is the only one who can assess the situation. A player like that is always solicited by other clubs and always has to assess his situation.
"He was until now a real top leader at Tottenham. He's a top leader in the English national team. I respect highly his commitment and his quality. What I like today is he could play basically as a number 10 because the quality of his assists and the speed of his vision, and the execution of his speed on long balls is exceptional."
Kane already boasts 30 goal contributions from 27 Premier League games this season - 17 goals and 13 assists - and he chalked up his 33rd goal in England colours against Albania at the weekend.
